About
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, I am a lifelong artist and musician, I grew up attending arts programs in CT and studied piano double bass and voice. I am a recent graduate from Yale with a B.A. in the Humanities. My senior thesis explored aesthetic philosophy and the sublime through the arts, asking what it means to live ethically in a world that speeds up to outrun death and uncertainty. I argue that the way we use language reflects the reductive nature of our time, shaping thought itself to avoid ambiguity and depth. Art, music, and poetry resist this by slowing perception and expanding the tools through which we think. To linger with the unresolvable, I suggest, is not retreat—but the beginning of ethical life. My written thesis was ultimately accompanied by a solo gallery exhibition of my artwork as well as a solo vocal recital.
